This heavy Trinity variation original is crafted and carved directly in wax as a very solid and thick double sided medallion. At around 1 1/2" in diameter, this item is only for those folks seeking a solid heavy presence design, which would be appropriate on heavier chain types. The Trinity aspect of this symbol has its namesake from the origins of the core element of the Holy Trinity, but also would be open to the interpretation of the wearer as a connection to the many other trinity concepts in Celtic Philosophy, such as "Life, Death and Rebirth" as an on going and everlasting cycle of life force regeneration, as well as the elemental connection to "Earth, Sea and Sky" and others including the matriarchal honor of the source of life through the "Maiden, Mother, Wise Woman" or Triple Goddess triskel image which would be more directly associated with the many versions of 3 spiral patterns in Celtic Art. Some of these design concepts are described elsewhere on my site, and all of these concepts can be viewed as overlapping each other as opposed to a hard and fast interpretation, which allows for personal affinity for where ones intention resides.
