This is one new addition in 2020 of a Limited Series of customized designs in Sean's Line. 1" in diameter, this is the larger of my current Moon & Sun designs, and as such includes more elaborate detail including the face of the goddess of the moon embedded in the knotwork. This design is offered here in lab grown *Emerald, which gives a classy sparkle in the sun, as well a rich green color. Natural gemstone Emeralds would cost Thousands, so I have decided to use high quality lab grown Emeralds. This design is also available in natural African Amethyst as well, in addition to my original all Sterling Silver offering. 

The classic round cut facet is a deep style facet, and thus the point of the stone tip does protrude behind the pendant. This aspect does not create an uncomfortable aspect, since the curvature and position of the chain bail protect the stone from touching the skin. The bezels are hand crafted individually, so variations do exist in these custom creations. All work and satisfaction are guaranteed.

This design is seemingly whimsical, yet indeed ties into the very fabric of Celtic life of old.The Solar and Lunar cycles are the natural time piece of the Celts. The winter and summer solstice/equinox alignments were very important for timeframes for specific activities, and the mid points between those solar junctions were the celebrations of the largest of Celtic ceremonial festivals. In the case of the Lunar Cycles, the elder women of the tribe, having seen life in all its phases, were honored with the planning and timing of important life events around the moon's ebb and flow.
