1 1/4" in approximate diameter, this is a womans ring that is destined for those women who love the more bold and ructic elements of Celtic designs. The shank tapers nicely at the back, and for those who have purchased this ring in the past, I must say that it is a winner for easy to wear yet prominent rings from my collection. This version sports a setting of Amethyst, for a rich purple addition of this natural cabachon. Also available in Chromium Diopside (Green) and others in the future, perhaps as custom orders after the 1st of January in the 2021 season.
This design is actually borrowed from a company of artisans in the 6th century (I think) that made beautiful decorative armor for the horses of the Royalty to ride, like parade style, through the streets and royal grounds. This is part of a horse harness from a museum collection source, created here in miniature for a slice of history to wear in the modern day. Comprised mainly of spiral patterns, which evoke ancient matriarchal overtones symbolically (dont tell the King!). The original harness and trappings must have been something to behold, for these artisans inlaid the entire recessed areas with multi-colored enamel glass insets. Imagine the polished bronze in the dazzling sun with all the glinting glass colors, and you get the idea of Pagentry along the cobblestone roads through the Kingdom on these special occasions!
